Hoosier's note: Given that the US Presidential Election is in November, 2016, and that the Fed has failed to raise rates after the FOMC meeting in July, 2016, there is simply no time for the Fed to raise rates at all for the rest of 2016.
Hence, I agree with the view that the Fed could go negative on rates.
