QAF #28 - Expansion of Gardenia Bakeries (Philippine) Inc. (“GBPI”)

It was announced yesterday that QAF has constructed a new plant which will be operational by December 2015 (see SGX Announcement).

QAF will also be penetrating the artisan bakery and community bread  market in the Philippines by implementing a franchise system for the high end artisan bread stores and stores offering the Filipino traditional daily bread (“Artisan Bread Store & Community Bakery Stores”).

The Filipino market has a great potential for growth because of the size of its population which has hit 100 million recently.
